Handmade lampshades, made slowly.

Each shade is built by hand in the studio from layered paper-mâché — one piece at a time, in small batches. Colour, pattern and the warmth of the light come first, so no two are quite alike. Browse the current pieces below, or commission one made entirely to your room.

This is where the wildest ideas come to life. One child wanted a birthday-party doughnut — she got a lamp with dripping pink icing and real-looking sprinkles. Another asked for jelly beans, and the shade came back studded with them. I make sculptural, one-of-a-kind lamps: tell me the strangest, most specific thing you can picture, and I’ll sculpt it by hand into light.
